Stevens Institute of Technology will hold the Annual High School Ethics Bowl on Thursday, May 31, 2012.
 This half-day event introduces participants to careful thinking about ethical issues posed by our modern society. Teams of high school juniors and sophomores compete as they answer questions about ethical issues raised by contemporary science and technology.
The High School Ethics Bowl has become an essential part of campus life at Stevens. Schools from all over New Jersey and New York regularly join us for this event. This year, it will be held for the fourth time.

What is the High School Ethics Bowl?
The Ethics Bowl discusses issues and problems in all fields of technological innovation and modern society. In the past, students debated topics such as:
- AIG Bailout
- Enhancement Drugs in Sports
- Prescription Drugs to Improve Children's Behavior
- Social Networks on the Internet
- Brain Death and Respect for Life
- Preventive Breast Surgery
- Grade Inflation
The debates are directed by faculty members of the College of Arts & Letters and advanced students from all disciplines.
