1964-1975: The Brian Jones & Mick Taylor Years
Rare Film Performances from the Shelley Archives
An exciting evening of rare "unseen-for-years footage" of early performances, including their first appearances on television in the USA & Europe, promo films, concerts & newsreels. 1964-75 was undoubtedly one of The Stones' peak artistic periods; the band was as widly popular and influential as The Beatles. Brian Jones was the original leader & rhythm guitarist. After Jones' death in 1969, Mick Taylor joined the band and helped create such celebrated albums as the legendary Exile on Main Street. Recently, Taylor re-joined the stones to re-master Main Street.
Plus a Q&A with archivist Bill Shelley following the screening.
