Graduate Tuition Rates for AY 2012-2013March 6, 2012 To: All Faculty From: George P. Korfiatis, Provost & University VP Date: March 6, 2012 Subject: Graduate Tuition Rates for AY 2012-2013
Dear Colleague: As you may already know Stevens has adopted a new graduate tuition rate model for AY 2012-2013. This note is intended to explain how this new model impacts research projects.
1. The Institute has set new graduate tuition rates for the AY 2012-2013. The graduate tuition starting on September 1, 2012 can be found in http://www.stevens.edu/sit/graduate/tuition/index.cfm 2 . Effective immediately all proposals will be submitted with the new tution rates 3. The new flat tuition rate will only apply to NEW full time students incoming in the FALL of 2012. All existing students (either full time or part time) will be subject to the per credit rate of $1,280/credit in AY 2012-2013 4. All cases where currently outstanding proposals (which have been submitted with the old rates and get funded) or where existing awards need to assign research assistantships to any NEW full time student after September 1, 2012, will be reviewed with the PI by OSR on a case by case basis. An institutional budget will be set aside to assist with those cases where the new flat tuition rate is applied, as required.
Please let me know if you have any questions. |
