Professor Hazelwood selected as the 2008 Henry Morton Distinguished Teaching Professor

At the Stevens Institute of Technology Convocation on Wednesday, September 3rd, Professor Vikki Hazelwood of the Department of Chemistry, Chemical Biology, and Biomedical Engineering was named as the Henry Morton Distinguished Teaching Professor for 2008. This award, made possible by the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr., Fund for Excellence, is presented to a faculty member "of exceptional teaching ability who has demonstrated a great influence on students in and/or out of the classroom. Dr. Hazelwood is Co-Director of the Biomedical Engineering Program at Stevens and is currently President and CEO of SPOC, Inc. (Stevens Proof of Concept), a company that is developing a novel medical device based on a design by Stevens undergraduate students.
