Biomedical Engineering Students Take 1st Place at National Poster Competition
December 3, 2009
A team of biomedical engineering students from the Stevens Institute of Technology was awarded first place in a poster competition at the 2009 Annual Meeting of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering. Aaron Rella, a 2009 graduate of the Biomedical Engineering program, presented the poster on behalf of senior design teammates Jenifer McGuire, Katherine Reighard, and Mariel Menafra. The project, entitled "Evaluation of a Posterior Cruciate Ligament Tensioning Device," was supervised by Professors Valdevit, Hazelwood, and Ritter. This represents the second time in the last three years that a Stevens biomedical engineering team has taken first place at the ISPE meeting.
