Biomedical Engineering and Stevens Athletic Center announce Launch of Interdisciplinary Research in Sports Medicine

By combining the study of Sport and Medicine we may be able to develop better ways to prevent disease, injury, and other ill effects, saving millions of dollars in health care costs and improving the quality of life for many individuals. Professor Frank Fisher leads Stevens Team Awarded $200K from the National Science Foundation (NSF)

Besser keynotes International Microreaction Conference

Speaking before about 150 international researchers in microchemical systems, Dr. Ronald Besser delivered a talk titled, Microreaction in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. The second half of the talk described a Department of Energy-funded project in pharmaceutical hydrogenation being carried out with collaborators from Bristol-Myers Squibb, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, who were also co-authors on the presentation.
