The Department of Chemcial Engineering and

Materials Science is pleased to announce that Kimberly

Dikovics, an undergraduate student in the department, was honored

 with a 1st Place Award at the AIChE Undergraduate Poster Exhibition

at the National Convention in Nashville, TN.   Awards were given to the

top poster presenters in each category.  Kimberly was honored 1st Place in

the materials group for her work with Highly Filled Materials Institute entitled

“Nanocomposites of an  Engineering Plastic:  Poly(etheretherketone)

with Carbon Nanofibers” advised by Dr. Dilhan Kalyon.
