February 26, 2005 - 3M added to the list of innertCHILL sponsors - Matthew
Recently 3M has been interested in the innertCHILL project because of its use of the unique 3M eletronic liquids called Fluorinerts. Because of our unique application they have decided to sponsor us by providing us with the Fluorinert FC-72 needed to complete the prototype design. Thanks go out to Phil Tuma of the 3M Electronics Markets: Materials Division.
February 26, 2005 - InnertCHILL patent review Matthew
The innertCHILL system cooler is up for patent review this week. Stevens Institute of Technology Patent Office has shown interest in our project and will be voting to pursue "Patent Pending" status on our unique cooling process. This is a big step for all of us on the team, as it not only presents a huge professional oppourtunity for us, but also gives insight into the patent process; an area of business rarely seen but essential for product designers.

January 26, 2005 - We're Back - Timothy
Hey everybody. The innertCHILL team is back in full swing, and working harder than ever. We are currently working on acquiring the first components of our design so that we can really get this going and hit our May proto-type goal. Also, the whole team would like to especially thank JP Kosmyna, who this semester is finally an official part of our team and the designer of this site. He will also spend this semester developing the code for the micro-controller that we'll be using to control the system.

December 1, 2004 - Requests For More Project Deatils, I Hear You - Matthew
I am reworking the About page tonight, many are looking for more information specific to the project and implementation. We have planned for a special section for that towards prototyping, but for now all we can offer is an expanded, more detailed blurb. If interested remember you can request proposals from our team Business Coordinator, Tim Alexander (email).
November 26, 2004 - Computer Science Addition to innertCHILL - Matthew
Recently we have been looking to add a new member to the team. Considering the feature set we anticipate would be essential to the development of a full working prototype, we are adding a Computer Science Major to our roster. John-Paul Kosmyna, our webmaster, who already has dedicated so much time to the devlopment to this site is our number one pick. He has quite a bit of experience in overclocking and enthusiasts computing as well as being a great programmer. Negotiations between faculty and myself are going on as some departments seem to be set in their ways and want to control how they conduct design classes.
November 19, 2004 - Stevens Faculty Interest Meeting - Matthew
On Thursday November 18th, the innertCHILL team was able to give an interest meeting to several key staff at Stevens Institute of Technology. Some antendees included the Dean of Engineering (Prof. Korfiatis) as well as the Dean of the Business and Technology department (Prof. Lacirica). We seem to have struck a nerve with the faculty not only with the work effort we have been contributing to the project but the group dynamic we have established. Interdepartmental teams seem to be a future focus in a redesign of how Stevens runs their Design programs. Looks like we just just wanted it sooner. Networking such as this will be key to furthering the devlopment of this project, and it looks like we are one step closer to financial support.
November 16, 2004 - New Content Added - Matthew
After the initial site launch we have begun to add more content. Filling out the team section, contact information and gettng documents up for project progress was of first priority. We will continue to fill out the other sections of the site to give a full picture of what team innertCHILL is trying to accomplish, and what we are about. Expect to see much more information regarding the cooling system design itself so each visitor can get a conceptual grasp of scope and ambitiousness of the project. Check back with us as the site will continue to evolve.
