Dr. Bharat Mehta has 30 years of experience spanning the pharmaceutical industry and plastics industry serving healthcare products. He has extensive experience in the areas of manufacturing operations, strategic and timely capacity additions, quality control, new product development/tech transfer, global regulatory compliance and joint venture relationship.

Mehta started his career at GE Plastics as a Sr. Process Development Engineer and then occupied positions of increasing responsibilities at GE Plastics, PFIZER (W-L) and Bristol Myers Squibb.

Prior to becoming an independent consultant and taking an adjunct faculty position at Stevens, Dr. Mehta served as VP of Manufacturing Operations at Genta Incorporated for the last six years.  

Mehta has extensive international experience.  He is a member of AAPS, AICHE, ACS and ISPE.

Dr. Mehta has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University and has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Bombay University, India.
