Dear Stevens Community,
 
Palmer Hall has been cleared for students to return.  In addition, counseling and health center staff will be in the Jacobus lounge until 9 pm tonight for any students who have questions or concerns.
 
The Counseling Center, located on the 7th floor of the Howe Center, will have extended hours this week as follows: Tuesday 9 am - 8 pm, Wednesday through Friday 9 am - 6 pm. Walk-ins are welcome.  The Center's phone number is 201-216-5177.
 
We appreciate your cooperation during this difficult time and will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Dear Stevens community,
 
At approximately 3pm today, Stevens campus police became aware of an unattended death on the third floor of Palmer Hall.  The individual has not yet been identified.  There is no risk to the community and a police investigation is ongoing.
 
Palmer residents have been asked to vacate the hall and may use Jacobus Hall until they are able to return.
 
We will provide updates as additional information becomes available.

The Stevens Community,

There is police activity on the 3rd floor of Palmer Hall. There is no risk to the community. We have asked everyone to vacate the building and to please avoid the area surrounding the building.

Student residents of Palmer Hall may go to Jacobus Hall until they are able to return to the residence hall.

We will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.
